Update before Florida: Aggies will be without Admon Gilder & Duane Wilson tonight. Both are day-to-day with knee injuries.

Hogg is scheduled to return after nearly wrecking the Aggie season for the sake of getting high.

According to BK on Texags Radio just now, Wilson will be a stretch to play and Gilder will only play if he is close to 100%. He said Gilder has been cleared to play, but hasn't had much practice time with the team so he might err on the side of having him completely healthy for the rest of the season.

In addition, Rob Williams is sick (virus, no practice), Kennedy is hopeful he’s good to go against LSU on Saturday

On the good news front for A&M: guard D.J. Hogg is expected back in the rotation after missing three games because of suspension.

My thoughts on this game: we better win! Or else full wheels off the wagon mode.

Hogg better play well, a lot scornful eyes will be upon him in Reed today

Gilder "doubtful"
RW "questionable"
Wilson "out"

NEWS AND NOTES

Texas A&M (11-3, 0-2 in SEC): The Aggies, for the first time this year, are trying to rebound from back-to-back losses. A short-manned Texas A&M team fell, 83-66, to Florida on Tuesday, but the Aggies are expecting to have its leading scorer back in F DJ Hogg (14.6 ppg, 6.8 rpg). Hogg is expected to return from a three-game suspension. His perimeter shooting (50 percent from 3-point line) should open up scoring opportunities in the paint for C Tyler Davis (13.8 ppg, 8.1 rpg) and F Robert Williams (8.4 ppg, 10.0 rpg, 2.7 bpg). Billy Kennedy's team has been without the guard tandem of Admon Gilder and Duane Wilson, who both are recovering from knee injuries, but are considered game-time decisions Saturday. F Savion Flagg (7.6 ppg, 5.8 rpg) and G Jay Jay Chandler (5.3 ppg) are two freshmen who have stepped their games up in the past weeks.

LSU (9-4, 0-1 in SEC): The Tigers, coached by Will Wade, had a three-game winning streak snapped with a 74-71 home loss to Kentucky Wednesday evening. F Duop Reath (12.8 ppg, 5.2 rpg) had 24 points and 11 rebounds, and G Tremont Waters (17.2 ppg, 6.2 apg, 3.5 rpg) played beyond his 5-foot-11 frame to post 18 points and 11 rebounds in the loss to Kentucky. Waters is the leading scorer on an LSU team with four players who average double figures in scoring. G Skylar Mays (12.2 ppg, 4.0 rpg, 3.3 apg) and F Aaron Epps(10.2 ppg, 6.0 rpg) are two other players to keep an eye on.

Oh boy!

Was just told that Rob Williams will not play today vs. LSU. He's been ill with a virus all week. Admon Gilder and Duane Wilson participated in warmups, but are not expected to play.

Opening line was A&M -9.5, just looked and it's now at A&M -7.0 after the injury updates and Williams illness. Wow! Hearing Reed is packed though. Should give the team a boost! Big game, don't want to start 0-3 in conference after being ranked #5 two weeks ago...

Final score LSU 69 AGGIES 68 as a 3 with 1 second left from their star Waters wins it for LSU.

Wow! Danger danger Mr. Robinson!

Aggies drop a heartbreaker to LSU and fall to 0-3 in SEC play. Key stat...free throws. Aggies shot 63.3% at the line. Davis had a huge game but the 2 missed FTs with 11 seconds left and a 2-point lead really hurt.
