The CFL has now joined the Ivy League in ending full-contact practices. This is getting closer to some monumental decisions by NFL & NCAA.

The game is going to have to change substantially, eventually.  The science that is out there is pretty damning that CTE is real, and prevalent.  This is only a first and small step in that direction.

if they start wearing bubble uniforms or go to flag football the interest and money will start dispersing to other sports.  Maybe soccer will be the beneficiary and we can make the world cup tournament again.  I can't believe they can't develop a helmet that will better absord hits.

I completely agree with you and yes you would think they could build a better helmet, I am sure they are working on it with all of the money at stake.
