Sumlin's comments so far leave me thinking no one is really standing out so far as moving the team down the field. Just listened to him discussing how it's going and was not impressed.

Kevin Sumlin on the constant evaluation of his 3 top QBs w/ OC Noel Mazzone, including after Thursday night's scrimmage at Kyle Field.

Maybe it's not so bad after all?

"He really looks like a true NFL quarterback." -@_TaylorHamm is bullish on @AggieFootball's Nick Starkel.

Oops! That's just from Taylor Hamm.

Remember, Kyle Allen was also a pro-style quarterback but probably had more mobility than Nick Starkel from what I have heard. So, yes, we can field an effective offense with a pro-style quarterback but requires improvement from the OL or he'll get pressured and hit too much.
