Score of Tech Game

So is it going to be a huge score fest? I honestly think the score is going to be alot lower then people think. That whole TCU game where they kept Tech from scoring a touchdown was really really weird.

I suck at this but:

This strikes me as very implausible. Not the spread mind you, or the fact that you think you'll win, but it seems with the new clock rules games with scores like that will be hard to come by.

That is basically you guys scoring on every possession. Quickly. With them doing a fair amount of scoring themselves. I just can't see that happening. Not in yall's game or most others this year. Just not enough time.

Maybe other than the Army game you guys have shown some of that, but it seems to me that the safest way for you guys to move the ball down the field is with a fair number of runs. Chews up a lot of clock, too. That's a good thing against Tech.

I would have to agree with you... Scoring in the 50's while that would be great, seems highly unlikely to me....

Besides I would rather us pound them into submission.... the best thing I would love to see is the Tceh players with hands on knees in the 3rd & 4th quarter because they either can't keep up with Lewis or Goodson or are tired of getting the crap beat out of them by Lane.

yeah.

during a game a few years back their cheerleaders ran out after a td or something with the flags that spell "T-E-C-H". But they only spell that if you get them in the right order.

I agree with Wade...there's not going to be as much scoring as everyone thinks. Hopefully we will control the clock with the running and intermediate passing game. I think we pull of the win 24-13.

They get within a TD to win and we get the ball back on turnover or on downs and put up one more for insurance midway through the 4th then they frantically try to score and go 4 and out. We kneel on it and go to the locker room.

We will have a TD lead pretty much the whole game and Neuman will boot a 35 yarder with ~2 minutes left for insurance...Tech will drive down the field to about the 30 when Hicks catches a 6 yard slant and Misi Tupe knocks him out cold, causing a fumble which Melvin Bullet recovers with 30 seconds left.
