I hate tech, the school....but I hate the tech fans more than that. The old lady--senior citizen, walking with a cane old--throwing peanuts at my wife from one row behind her put an end to me ever going back to that hell hole of a stadium. Caught 3 guys slicing my friends truck's tires in Lubbock because he had a former student decal on his pickup. To bad that they didn't know they were Fuc*in* with some recently graduated Force Recon Marines. We had just got back to Texas from Coronado, California and my Dad gave us tickets to the Tech game. I know for a fact that I left my aggie ring seal on 2 guys faces that day.

3. the city of lubbock sucks and every business i visited while there for the game in 2001 was rude and had horrible service to Aggie fans.

I was in Lubbock a couple of years ago visiting some friends and to go to their Chilifest, and we went to some sports bar to watch whatever Tech game it was. Getting great service the entire time, didn't card me (I was 19 then), and then the one time I get up to go to the bathroom in the 3rd quarter my phone starts ringing with the War Hymn. I got the nastiest looks when I got back, people asked my friends why they brought me in there with them, all the people who had been talking a lot with my friends stopped, and we got the worst service from that point on. Apparently, they even turn on their own kind.

Did any of yall have professor swim for mgmt 211? He opened class yesterday describing his eternal hatred for tech. He said that one of his coworkers asked him why he hated tech so much since he went there (a&m undergrad; tech law school). He replied by saying that for the entire 3 years he spent in lubbock going to law school he was treated like nothing but garbage because of the aggie ring on his hand and that he would never forgive them for it. He also told us that if we had friends that went to tech coming down for the game to make sure that we reminded them that they only reason they go to tech is that they couldn't get in a&m or t.u.

Prof Swim is the ****. I had his class in 1998 and he was one red ass professor/Aggie.


I had a prof named Dr. Dozier, he taught real estate finance. He had been a WWII veteran, a lawyer, a good friend to James Earl Rudder, a teasip, and a very tenured professor. He would cuss like a sailor in class and tell people if they didn't like it, too bad, he had tenure and they weren't gonna fire him. He'd tell these awesome stories about Texas, WWII, and one of his rants was how he wished Norman Oklahoma would dissappear via nuclear bomb. He was an awesome professor. He use to be the golf coach long ago, and was missing several fingers from an explosion during WWII.

That hacks me off too and I think they copied it from tsips. I had seats a few years ago in the bleachers in the endzone for the A&M vs. t.u. game. As I'm watching the Corps march in a few of the t.u. students are doing said salute.

Other than that in the late 90's the tceh fans took to spray painting "TT" on various buildings around campus.

How about being dumba$$es for tearing up their own goalposts and throwing them into where the majority of Aggie fans were sitting.

The ultimate though is being so whitetrash that they have a glitter finish on their football helmets.

I think it was funny that they thought they looked more intimidating when they had black visors too bad they are illegal now. Funny when the dust is so thick you cant see two feet in front of you anyways. I like how every other player had the black visor just because it was the cool thing to do. I always thought it was retarded.
