This needs to be a decive game

My 5th year was Jackie's 4th year. That year I had the privelage of particapating as a member of the 12th man in the greatest game that i've ever seen. It was the beginning of a loonnnngg run of domination in the SWC by the Aggies. It was a home game and we were playing the still powerful and dangerous SMU Mustangs(they would get the death penalty at the end of the season). The game was on ESPN and it was a night game. Kyle Field was electric that night. I still get chills (the Aggie Spirit) just thinking about it. We won that game by blocking a field goal attempt that would have given the Mustangs the victory. There were so many unbelievable moments in that game, let's pray that this game this weekend against those red Jackasses from Lubbock is the same type of game. I tell former students who went to TAMU during the late 80's thru the mid to late 90's that they were spoiled regarding Aggie football. My first 4 years were difficult since we were rebuilding and only beat the sips once my senior year in the corps. My patience was rewarded however when my beloved Aggies won the SWC the next year and kicked the crap out of Houston, SMU, Arkansas, and the Teasips, then destroyed a Bo Jackson led Auburn in the Cotton Bowl.

Even though tu is our biggest rival game of the year, I view tech to be our game of the year this year. This is the game that will dictate the rest of the year for us. If we win, I think every game up to the tu game is very winnable and I think we would have a legitimate shot at being undefeated and a top 10 team going into that game. If we lose, it could start a downward spiral where we lose 4 or 5 more games after tech.

I agree, the season hinges on this game. Win Saturday and we catapult to a great year (and are just one win from bowl eligibility) -- lose and it could send us in a tailspin quickly (and incite all the CJA's)
