Junior A&M receiver Earvin Taylor's injury to his right leg Saturday will not end his season, A&M associate athletic director Alan Cannon confirmed Sunday night.

Taylor was injured on his 12-yard reception — his first catch of the season — during the first quarter of the Aggies' 45-14 win over Louisiana Tech.

Taylor went down awkwardly after the hit and had to be helped off the field and carted away from the sidelines. The trainers had ice on his knee and ankle. Taylor returned to the sideline during the second half on crutches.

I am glad he will be back... that guy has been hit by a lot of injuries.

I agree.. that poor guy has been through alot..... I hope he is back at least before the OU game... I know he wants to play in every game, but if there was any stretch of games that he would not want to miss, that would be it.

Here's to a quick recovery for him!!! :gig:

I really feel for the guy, because he got hurt fighting for an extra yard. Most players would have been down long before then. He did exactly what you hope all our players do, and was hurt. I became an Earvin Taylor fan after that catch.

Having played against him & his brother in High School I was a fan of both of them the minute they both commited to A&M... they are both stand up guys....

Not that I know them personally... but the couple of times our High Schools played each other.... they were always cool after the game.

Thats great to hear. Hopefully it won't take to long for him to get back on the field.

I definately agree. I hope he gets better asap and just because he got hurt doesn't stop busting it 110%.
