Ok Army, I am calling on you folks to do the right thing and be ol'Army. As you all are well aware of, the heathens from Lubbock are the worst fans, infact they are worse than the worst, they make LSU fighters look civilized. Last year in Lubbock, those jackasses did the heil Hitler salute to our Fightin Texas Aggie Band. Because the Commandant of the Corps has basically handcuffed the Corps from being Ol'Army, I'm calling on the rest of the University, both nonreg and alumni to do your Aggie duty and not allow the Tech fan to behave so poorly in our stadium. If you see them treat the Band like the way they did last year, do your part, walk up to them politely and ask them to stop and remind them that they are insulting young men and women who will in many circumstances be going to Iraq and fighting for our great Nation. If they continue, then escort them out of the stadium.
Back before my time all that had to be done was someone would shout "Ol'Army fight," and it was awn.
These jerks from Lubbock are scum and we should not allow them to behave as they do.

i say screwem.... their antics are not worth a response from me. The only reason they keep pulling crap like that is people who get their panties in a wad over it (like you). If we all played the ignore game they would stop much sooner than letting em know its getting to us.

I thought you said nonregs weren't really Aggies. Now that you want something you're willing to call us that?

Believe me, that ignore thing doesn't work. Infact, that is what a woman/Mom would say. "Ignore them and they'll leave you alone." That tactic doesn't work. Just ask Slick Willie, he ignored Al Queda and look what they did.

and thats going to stop them? if anything THAT will get them more riled up.
If anything it will get them to bring up this tidbit of knowledge... that 55% of people in the corps do not go into the military (source: http://www.corpsofcadets.org/internal.asp?page=ForParentsVisitors).
Generally I like the corps and there are plenty of good people in there but there are also a few idiots who think they are better than everybody else. To me its aggie first and then any orginizations you are in where these select few (and most of em are legacy) put the corps above being an aggie and thats where my problem comes in (but im off topic now so ill stop)

The last time I checked, Texas A&M did not have alumni.

Introduce their women to Aggie scoring traditions....send their boys home with a bag'o'tortillas.
