Sad to see him go on a play on which if he goes down he probably doesn't get hurt. The guy has straight up passion. I hope his injury wasn't season ending but it didnt' look good

The only good sign was that he didn't hang a cleat or anthing & their wasn't any weight on it. Yeah, it kind of bent the wrong way, but it might be more of a twist than anything. Most of the time when you see guys blow out their knees, their foot is planted, their is weight on it, & the knee goes one way while the body goes the other (Willis McGahee, Dante Culpepper, & Carson Palmer are three good examples.) I guess we'll find out on Tuesday for sure.

You couldn't see his feet. He was wrapped around the waist down and got bent backwards

Dude, I saw his feet. I saw it through binoculars as it happened & I saw it on the replay. I'm not saying he is going to be okay, but it didn't look like a typical MCL/ACL type tear.
Did you not read my post? I said it got bent the wrong way. But I also said he didn't have his foot planted when it happened & he didn't have any weight on it.

but if you lower leg is locked in arms that's basically like having your foot planted

Not really, because their isn't any weight on your knee. Either way, its not worth arguing about. I'm just telling you what I saw & giving you my thoughts. Like I said, we'll all know on Tues. if not sooner.

I'm not trying to argue but if someone torques your knee in anyway I'd think you're going to have an injury. Also I was watching for his feet on the replay and I can't remember seeing his feet... It just looked painful. It was either his knee or ankle because he put no weight on it going off the field.

Oh, yeah. I'm sure its his knee. But generally, to blow it out...torn ACL/MCL...you need to have weight on it. Like I said, think about the examples that I gave. I'm just thinking that its more twisted than ripped up.

Definitely his knee because he grabbed it (and grabbed it several times on the ground). I don't think he'll be back next week -- but let's hope he comes back soon and Franks can step up big like he did this week.
