That pic on the yahoo pics with the lightning shows it all. It was freaky. I had friends on the third deck that said their hair stood up a couple of times and they took off. Seemed pretty dangerous

Nah, lighting isn't that dangerous.

SA...the City of CS has lightning sensors located throughout. Basically, if lightning is picked up within a X mile radius, the sensors go off. Then a clock starts. If it goes 20 minutes without picking up any lightning then the alarm will turn off. Once that happens they are cleared to play. The problem was, once that band of T-storms blew threw, it stalled out. So it took a little longer for it to get out of the area.

I'm talking about the lightning like in the third quarter. Do those censors only pick up cloud to ground strikes?

That I'm not sure about. But by the time the 3rd quarter rolled around all the thunderstorms were well away. My wife was at home on the computer sending me pics of the radar throughout the game.

What's almost as bad as that is being crapped on by bats for two hours in the Zone. those of us in the 400s had to stand underneath and be dumped on for the duration of the delay.
FYI - bat crap is dangerous, it contains a fungus that causes histoplasmosis - a lung infection.
