Overall though, it's good for the Big XII and good for Texas Basketball. Texas has always been a good basketball school, and it's about time they landed somebody like this. Barnes is a good coach.

A&M will get good regular season practice against Texas so they'll know what the NCAA Tournament will be like, talent wise and they'll be able to play their first round opponent tough (<-- Cause they'll be in it for sure :) ). It's about time that the Big XII basketball conference got some love from out of state recruits...and deep from ACC country. Ouch!
