I like Leach and I think he's pretty funny and I think his and Tech's success is good for the conference, but their fans are embarrassing. Pretty much exactly what you expect for kids that aren't among the top HS kids in Texas from each year.

The kid in the very first picture, the one that is hanging from the goalpost as it is being carried, was a sophomore in high school that year. He is a pretty good friend of mine and I was a senior. He had that picture posted up in his locker and everything. The kid was famous, he was on ESPN, FoxSports, everywhere. He is now a Junior at Tech.

i went to the tech-smu game. After tech went for it on 4th down and scored in the last minute of the game police had to protect smu fans who were being stoned. As I was leaving a Tech student was cursing an elderly couple who was wearing a shirt for her son on the smu team, the mother had tears rolling down her face.

You guys are going to have to do better than the two sacks a game you're averaging, then.

There's another alternative--keep the receivers in front of you, hit them, and make them make mistakes. You bring the pressure at the right time and it messes them up.

While we are only averaging two sacks a game, we are getting a lot of pressure on the QBs & forcing them to throw well before they're ready, in turn throwing bad passes. You don't get the negative yardage like you would on a sack, but its still very effective. Tech's offense is all about timing. Messing up that timing, messes up their offense. You don't have to get sacks to be effective with your pass rush.
