Reed Rowdies:
FALL MEETING: WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 4th 9:00 PM, RUDDER 301 BE THERE
Well it seems like only yesterday that we watched our Aggies shut down
Gerry McNamara on our way to our first NCAA win since 1987 (which is
before many of our new members were born.) But basketball season is coming
sooner than you think and its time that we get ready. Obviously this year
could be a big year for Aggie Hoops and the preseason press is already
giving us love. Looks like the Aggies are going to start the season ranked
in the top 15 for the first time since, well, a depressingly long time.
We've got some stuff planned, but I wont bore you with that now. The
purpose of this email is to let everyone know that we will be having our
fall meeting Wednesday, October 4th at 9:00 in Rudder 301.
We need as many people there as possible so we can tell you our ideas for
this year, possibly sell some shirts, and get pumped for the the greatest
season in Aggie Basketball history. Were also going to have some special
guests there to speak so a good turnout would be great. And besides it'll
be a great chance to hang out and talk Aggie Hoops. Keep in mind that
midnight madness is going to be the night of Friday, October 13th (scary I
know, but it'll actually be the 14th at midnight.)
We'd like to welcome the almost 400 new people that signed up at open
house to the Reed Rowdies. Come to the meeting and be prepared to get
crazy this season. Some things to think about before the meeting, we're
going to need help spreading the word for midnight madness, we'll also
need help selling shirts during the season and weeks leading up to the
season, and also think about whether or not you'd be interested in going
to Baton Rouge on December 5th for our rematch against LSU.
Okay that's all for this email, we'll send out a reminder in a couple
weeks about the meeting. Also get everyone you know that loves basketball
(or even just likes basketball or is good at trash talking) and drag them
to this meeting because we want a million people there who are pumped about
Fightin' Texas Aggie Basketball.
