running game in the nation at 19 yards/game. that is pathetic for anyone to only rush for 19 yards a game with any schedule.

In those 11 attempts we still managed over 100 yards with only 7 completions... not to mention we had 200 yds the 2 games before....
1 game makes not a season!
Baylor's Average is over the course of 3 games..... can't compare that to 1 game where it was obvious that running the ball was all we needed to do to win.

Baylor had -10 yards rushing last week against a Pac-10 team.
Now that is pathetic.
Not to mention the fact that they also lost their 2nd game of the season. Look out boys, here comes the Bears....the biggest, baddest 5-6 team in the country.

I don't care if we never pass the ball. The running game is far and away our biggest strength. We should stick to it.

What four teams will they beat? They'll probably take Army and Colorado(both very loseable for the Bears), but what other teams can they beat?

Running the ball controls the clock and the game. I got damn tired of us having one minute drives last year that went 80 yards. I'd rather see us pound the ball on a 10+ play drive that takes 5+ minutes off the clock.

didn't we say the same thing two years ago

They'll beat OSU. And maybe K-state or Kansas. They always manage to win one game that you wouldn't think they would win--please just don't let it be us.

Interesting take, but I think the Cowboys have improved a lot. In fact, I think that'll be our toughest road game this year(besides Texas), and we could be in for a thriller in Stillwater.

I'm not sold on ok st. yet. we have owned them the last couple of years and they haven't exactly played anybody yet. We'll see how good they are once big 12 play hits. I still think ku will be tougher than most people are expecting.

Even after a 2-pt. win over Louisiana-Monroe and a loss to Toledo? Kansas will be the same this year as they are every year: bad.
Oklahoma State and Missouri look to be the suprise up-and-comers in the conference this year.

I would compare our 4-pt win over army to their win over ulm and losing to toledo on the road should not have been a surprise, they are usually tough. And KU was not bad last year, and I think they would have beaten us.

No way Baylor beats Ok. St. That team is a potential sleeping giant.

Maybe they beat ya'll this year. They do have ya'll at home. (like that really matters with Baylor)

I don't want to be a smart-ass, but if they can beat Army what makes you think they can't beat you?

You are right, which is why if baylor goes in and easily handles baylor, i am going to be a little concerned. And no, that does not mean I am ready to jump of a cliff.

Honestly I don't think we can beat anybody. But I think we have a chance to beat everybody. We tend to show up like a #15 team one week and a #75 team the next

It might be tough for Baylor to easily handle themselves.
