1) Pistons are starting to complain about the refs:
http://msn.foxsports.com/nba/story/3685104The Pistons complained incessantly about the officiating during the Spurs' 97-76 victory Sunday night in Game 2, just as they have at times during the regular season and playoffs.

When coach Larry Brown was asked if he was concerned with his team's lack of composure, he offered up what he called a simple statistic.

"We're 1-7 with one referee and 11-1 with the rest," Brown said Monday.

Brown declined to elaborate, but postseason box scores show Detroit is 1-7 when either Ron Garretson or Dan Crawford has officiated its games and 11-1 when neither has been on the court.

2) Now is that really the problem, or is it this interesting stat:

The Spurs have played in 13 Finals games, and not once has an opponent broken 90.

Spurs 89, NY 77
Spurs 80, NY 67
NY 89, Spurs 81
Spurs 96, NY 89
Spurs 78, NY 77

Spurs 101, NJ 89
NJ 87, Spurs 85
Spurs 84, NJ 79
NJ 77, Spurs 76
Spurs 93, NJ 83
Spurs 88, NJ 77

Spurs 84, Det 69
Spurs 97, Det 76

WOW!!!!

Wow, that's a pretty suspicious looking statistic.
I doubt anything will come of this though.

I am going to agree with the Pistons.

That charge against Ben Wallace in Game 1? Changed the game.

The hacks called against Wallace at times are justified but at times are a complete and utter joke.

I still think that says something for the Spurs defense. 13 games and keeping everybody under 90? It's easier to win games that way...

Honestly i think the Pistons are getting jobbed by the refs, but after watching i think the Spurs are the better team

The Spurs flop and whine to the refs every game against every opponent. They are just like the Utah Jazz of the 90s. It's not like the Pistons are getting picked on, it happens to everybody.

With one big difference....2 (soon to be 3) Championships.

With one big difference . . . no Michael Jordan

But they still had Shaq's, Kobe's, Garnett's, Kidd's, and Wallace's along the way. And in all truthfulness, Jordan played for the Wizards when the Spurs won. :p

Thank goodness I am not the only one who sees this.

Pistons complain because they are getting shafted.
