I know that in the world of Football a team can look like Gods one week & like the crap my dogs leave in my back yard the next......
Having said that.....
How do ya'll feel about the Tech game... found something interesting about their defense.....

the 24th-ranked Red Raiders were sweating out a 38-35 overtime victory at the University of Texas-El Paso. Tech needed an interception by Darcel McBath, then a 49-yard Alex Trlica field goal, to fend off the pesky Miners.
The Red Raiders have problems.
Last week's 35-3 victory over Southern Methodist didn't look great at the time, and it looks worse after SMU this week fell to North Texas, 24-6. UTEP had 495 yards against what is supposed to be a decent Texas Tech defense after managing only 243 against San Diego State.
I know UTEP is no complete push-over.... but it seems that without the Big Hitters Tech had at Safety, their defense is starting to look lost.
The Red Raiders are still without all-conference wide receiver Jarrett Hicks because he hasn't been academically cleared.
This also hurts Tech.... because since he is not allowed to practice this will hurt his timing with the QB's.
Tech has TCU next which could pull off the upset over Tech if they are healthy & have their RB's & QB back.
But after TCU they have a D-1AA school before us to give them extra time to prepare for us.....
Then again we have the greatest equalizer in Kyle Field..... Tech has a tough time at CS & I don't see it being any eazier for them with us sitting at 4-0.
How do ya'll think things will go down against Tech?
