Where to begin...
I went to my parents' house in Sugar Land this morning to get my new cell phone. I leave their house at 2 PM, just to make sure that I have enough time to get to the game early. At some point between Katy and Tomball, 290 was COMPLETELY SHUT DOWN. There were ZERO lanes and we were detoured through what had to be the biggest neighborhood I've ever seen(Fairfield). It took me THREE HOURS to go FIVE MILES.
Then, I finally get to B/CS and pick my roommate and tickets up at my apartment(about 7 o'clock at this point). I go to the mall, where I ride the free shuttle every game. Despite the fact that they advertise shuttle service during the game, there was no shuttle to be seen. So, I drive to the University and find the closest free parking spot available (in a park more than 1 mile away from the stadium). So I make the long walk to Kyle Field and finally get in the stadium(to give you an idea how late I am, the kickoff to begin the 2nd half was in progress as I walked down the aisle to my seat).
Sure enough, there are people in my seats. When I showed them my tickets and asked for my seat, they smiled at everyone around them like they were just appeasing a jerk. I'm sorry, but if you steal a seat, YOU are the jerk.
I finally get to see a dominate second half. I saw maybe 5-7 minutes of action with our starters. Although I enjoyed the outcome of the game, this was by far the least enjoyable gameday experience I've ever had a Kyle Field.
