McGee went 20 of 28.:gig:

Including McGee & Branyon, A&M had 8 Different people run the ball for a total of 222 yds & 5 TD's.... (4 by the Train).:gig:

We also had 11 different players with a reception..... :gig:

The defense allowed only 17 yds passing... & about only 170 total.:gig:

While this is Lafayette & not Tech, OU, Neb, or tu do these stats make you feel better? Does this keep any of you who were pondering on jump off the cliff, from going through with it?

This is what I expected from these guys. They showed last week was a "scrimmage". Very proud of the defense, especially the secondary.

Way to go Ags.

BTHOA!!!!

This is the first stat I was looking at coming into this game. I definitely saw an improvement in the area where I wanted to see it most. I hope Darnell continues to improve.

Not only was is 17 yards passing but we only gave it up on two catches too. Jordan Peterson looked good out there. He can really deliever a hit.

This is gonna be a serious season for us.... Granted numbers like this might not show up against the big boys, but these kind of reps are gonna have us prepared..... I can't wait for this season to really get into full swing.

I am foaming at the mouth. Bring on Tech....they looked bad last night.

That Tech defense honestly looked very similar to the way ours did when they were making Texas State & other lesser teams run up crazy numbers.....

From what I have seen, I feel that A&M has better talent on Defense & GUESS WHAT!!!!!!!!! THEY ALL COME BACK NEXT SEASON..... Except for Bullitt, but you get what I am saying....

OK...this may sound a little like BOOZIN...

Dont get too fired up about 17 yards passing....they're a runing team. We looked GREAT up front against the run. The D played a TON better than I've seen them in recent memory.

the hit that Peterson delvered cant be properly described in print...you had to be there...it was HUGE!

I feel better, and I think we're heading in the right direction, but I'm still not totally convinced. I am more excited about Tech now though.

That's probably the best way to describe how I feel about us right now.

We need to get better and better for the next two games and not take any steps back. It seems in the fran era, our teams really play off the previous weeks emotions. It is important for our players to have huge confident levels going into the tech game, knowing that they took care of business in the first four games.

i am also somewhat optimistic but one thing that is really going to help us this year is everybody looks beatable in the big12.

I agree..... while we may not have played anyone with any real talent, the teams that have, have shown me that when faced with an offense with some talent, can be scored on easily..... I honestly believe, that we have on of the more complete offenses in the Conference & if needed can win a shoot out.

They up and hit the road.

I think that the PAC-10, Big XII, Big East and ACC will be in a tough battle this season for the title of "worst BCS conference." Suprisingly, the Big East is probably the best of the four above mentioned conferences so far.
