Fran confirms the rumors :gig:
"ESPN was here during the week to shoot a feature that will appear Saturday morning on Game Day about Mark Dodge and his 9/11 story...."
No injuries y'all :gig: :gig:
"In preparing for Louisiana-Lafayette let’s knock on wood with this thought – the training staff says we have the best injury report they can remember. Virtually everybody on the roster will be wearing the Maroon and White on Saturday."

One thing is for sure, our 12th Man Productions staff is outstanding in their work. A little too outstanding sometimes. One of the things we emphasized with the team this week in getting ready for Louisiana-Lafayette was keeping their concentration and focus on the game. There were a couple of times some of our players got caught up in the features showing on the video screen.
That's not good.

i admit... i noticed the players looking away. it was pretty funny, it was for the question of the week segement when the players gave their "dances".

Its not that big a deal. It was the first time they had seen it in action during a game and it was against a I-AA opponent. Them looking at it should have been expected. If they keep it up this week, then it might be an issue.

This part of FWF deserves being posted too. I sent a get well email to the email address listed below for Junior White and already got a really heart felt reply.
Let’s keep a couple of former football players and their families in our prayers this weekend – Junior White and Bama Smith. Junior was badly injured in an auto accident in College Station last week, and Mr. Smith passed away yesterday.
Mr. Smith was from Alabama, and he was an outstanding end on the 1939 national championship team and the 1940 team that won the ’41 Cotton Bowl against Alabama.
Junior White lettered as a safety four years from ’91-’94 after coming from A&M Consolidated High School locally. We’ve seen him often during the last couple of years working hard to establish a charity, the Aggie Football Alumni Foundation (http://www.txafa.org/). Cathy Capps, the head of the A&M Lettermen’s Association, visited Junior at The Med in College Station last night and she told us he had just come back from major surgery. She said she felt a sense of relief when he woke up and started asking about his emails and calling football plays.
Cathy said she promised Junior she’d bring him emails from Aggies. Send him messages at ccapps@athletics.tamu.edu. (ccapps@athletics.tamu.edu) His wife Stephanie is by his side, and they have a daughter in eighth grade and a 3-month-old son. Junior has worked through the Texas A&M Foundation to establish a scholarship for at-risk students, and not just athletes, with funds from activities involving former Aggie players. He has been especially targeting the recent players, since his days in uniform. You can visit the foundation’s web site for more information, and Junior will welcome visitors at the hospital after he changes rooms this weekend.
Here is the reply that I got from Cathy. Sounds like Junior was hurt really bad....
Thank you so much Jeff. I will deliver to Junior.
I saw Jr last night - he had just returned from surgery. They removed his c7 vertebrae and replaced it with a donor c7 then fused it to the c8. He's breathing on his own, which is good. He opened his eyes while I was talking to him and did the Gig 'Em thumbs up... Then started yelling football plays.. :)
Thank you again... I know he and his family appreciate the support.
