for some rep....... can anyone guess who the starting quarterback was for Southwestern Louisiana (now ULL) when they beat us back in 1996? also how many turnovers did we commit during that game?
dont cheat and take your time doing research.

Jake Delomme. Easy question. Brandon Stokely was his WR.
We committed 8 TO's. Didn't have to research anything. That stupid game will be stuck in my mind forever.

If you see my post elsewhere, besides Jake and Brandon, had Anthony Clements at OT, drafted and played for Cards for years now a Jet, Cottom was FB played for Ravens for couple years, Richard WR also Ravens 1 year. These are ones I remember.
Have a couple this year also, Cox - Sr. OT, Babb - Sr. QB, Fenroy - Soph RB.

By the way, drop the ULL it Louisiana Ragin Cajuns. Only those conceded jerks from lswho are keeping us from dropping the Lafayette. In 84 we had the name legally changed to University of Louisiana and their alumni took it to La. Supreme Court and forced us to change it back.
Wish you would play those fanatics and drive them into the sea.

LOL...very funny. Man, that really sucks about the name change thing. I had never heard about that until today. Don't feel bad, the liberal hippies in Austin kept us from getting a law school.

Question for you. Who will be going into NFL Hall of Fame in the next couple years that played for U(S)L?

What legal basis did LSU have from keeping you from getting the name change? That really sucks.

In Louisiana, and you are from lswho, you don't need a legal base. Goes back to Huey Long and making lsua&m@br what they are.

I guess after tomorrow night you will have a new memory to depress you.
Any way, good luck and let us hope it is a good game.

That was the game that threw me off the R.C. Chockem bandwagon. I was so pissed, that the next week at the Colorado game I was still enraged. I had tickets that I had gotten from my ex's bosses son in law who was Les Koenig, our current Off Coordinator then a wide receiver coach. I didn't realize that the seats I had were in the coaches wives section/recruit section. I had several beers prior to the game, and the first thing I did when I sat down was to stand up and scream at the top of my lungs, "Fire R.C. Slocum and hire Bob Davies." Let's just say I got into a bit of trouble a few days later. That was the only time I've ever vented my frustrations at a game. That was the year we were supposed to be Nat'l Champs.

Did you get in trouble for yelling "Fire RC Slocum" or because you didn't even know the name of the coach that you wanted to replace him?

For yelling Fire R.C. Slocum. That season just plain sucked.
