Who is this kid from Humble. I've heard from my neighbor how is a coach and involved with the teasips that he is one hell of a quarterback. Is he already in school, or is he still playing high school ball.

Are you talking about Jerrod Johnson? If so, he could play both football & basketball. His dad played football for the Ags. He won MVP of the High School All-Star game. He was actually projected to come in & be a WR but he played so well at the end of the season & in the All-Star game, that they are going to give him a shot at QB. He should end up RSing this year.

Ok, well every thing i'm hearing about this kid has me excited. If all this talk about a hurt Mcgee is true maybe they can give this kid a shot. Kind of like Craig Stump coming in for Kevin Murray when he folded his ankle. A game which I say and was nasty.

The Humble line to A&M continues. When I went to school there, we were lucky to have a good football team at all. Not to mention sending anyone to college. The closest I remember was after I graduated and Bertrand Berry was recruited by ND. He was a RB in HS and weighed about 25 lbs more than everyone else.

Johnson will still RS even if McGee is hurt. McCoy & Branyon will serve as the back-ups.
