Too bad they don't list Rice Stadium. Even though it's old and their football program blows, Rice stadium is an awesome venue. Not a bad seat in the house.

Only other stadium I've been to on that list is Neyland. Kyle is definitely a better place to see a game and the volume and atmosphere is incomparable.

As a venue Kyle field can't be beat, however it is one of the ugliest stadiums and most poorly designed. If you are on the third deck and close to the back, you are about a mile away from the action.

Do they still plan on closing the open end and turning it into a bowl?

Actually, I like the way Kyle is set up. I'd rather be looking right down on the field than sitting half as high, but a half-mile from the field like in sipville.

DAMN STRAIGHT! Except for sitting with Gravy a few times in the late 1990s and my first game as a fish, I never sat on the 3rd deck. Always hooked up with some upper classmen and sat on the first deck. 3rd deck blows IMO!
