Mitsubishi informed us that the boards were operating at just 30 percent of capacity power

Wow. I wonder how bright 100% is.

those things are designed to work in the daytime... probably will need em at 100% for day games.

Interesting on the floodlights at Kyle. Hopefully that cleaning them will be a difference. I suspect that their replacement will be forthcoming sooner rather than later.

Just cut them off. We'll play under the glow of the ribbon boards :cheesy:

When they clean/get new lights for the stadium, just add an "amendment" to the invoice (like the fed gov't does) and get the Kyle Field lights fixed on the West Side. I miss seeing that lit up at night.

Do they still leave Reed unlocked during the day? Someone still in school needs to go over there with a camera and see if they can take a few pics of the work that is going on inside. I'd love to get a sneak peak at the new scoreboard there.

i think they will have just started... last i heard they were going to start on it right after the kyle stuff was done and the kyle stuff has been barely finished for a week.

Well, if someone is around Reed anytime soon and they have a few extra minutes, they should go inside to check it out for us.

Hopefully this will quell the ridiculous letters to the editor in the Eagle... I think anyone who thinks Bill Byrne isn't one of the first people to notice when things are "sub-par" doesn't know much about the man. I've been impressed with his determination to make Aggie athletics the best in the nation, while maintaining a sincere appreciation for the traditions that make us special to begin with. Gig 'em, BB!

Well he hasn't shown me much on the football side yet.

what exactly do you expect him to do? We are building the indoor complex, built the endzone facility and made all of the changes to kyle. From my perspective thats where his job ends. Fran and the staff are responsible for the product on the field (and if they dont do the job byrne will do what he needs to)

OK, he's done a good job with the facilities.
