Wow, they are way too confident. I like that one of the reasons that we will lose is b/c we are unpatriotic by having class on labor day.

fran better not be taking any team lightly, much less ull. he knows he's on the hot seat and any loss this early in the season could make it a little hotter

Wow, it has been 10 years since that debacle. I guess most of the posters on that site weren't even teenagers yet! They still had aspirations to go to L$U. :)

The coaches can tell the players that all day long. It's up to them to make plays on gameday.

Do people in LA not realize that it is the A$$ hole of america. The governtment wont even pay to keep their Interstate system up to date.
The Massacre
09-05-2006, 05:17 PM
i believe the roads suck over there because the federal highway funding was conditioned on drinking ages and they just recently changed the drinking laws to meet federal requirements
texags08
09-05-2006, 05:28 PM
Good info. I already knew that the drinking age is a result of the interstate program. Do you know when LA canged theirs. I was just looking for something else to rag on them for!!
The Massacre
09-05-2006, 05:39 PM
not sure when they changed it, but i am thinking that the laws were different when i was in h.s. around 96-97.
texags08
09-05-2006, 05:43 PM
So it was still 18 there around 96?
The Massacre
09-05-2006, 05:45 PM
i'm not sure if it was 18, but there was some type of law that allowed younger people to drink under certain conditions, don't remember the details though.
or atleast i think.

How can thes guys expect to win when the only points they scored came from an an LSU fumble at the LSU 23. They would have had another three and out form anywhere else on the field!!!
176 yds offense
They had 2 red zone attempts under their own power, one for a missed FG and the other an interception.
I know we arent LSU when it comes to defense, but for they are overhyping their offense a tad.

The only reason i had to rag on the roads is because my family has driven to georgia twice a year since i was 8. I could always tell when we hit the LA TX border.

Just joined your board. You will find many of us Cajuns like and back the Aggies.
I am a 74 grad who lives near Baltimore. Started our alumni chapter up here in 81. Presently, President again, with over 1,000 alumni in area.
Know Coach Bustle, he has done a fantastic job re-building our program that was run into the ground by Baldwin (who came to us from lsu).
Good lluck to your team, may our game be a good one. Do hope we win, but if not, hope it is close and we play a clean and respectful game.

I will tell you right now that abou 95% of the Ags on this site are pretty cool & open minded & level headed as well.... I gotta give you props on the class your statement shows.... Hope your a member for a good long while...... Having fans from other teams with class I would think are always welcomed on here.... The staff is great & I look forward to agreeing to disagree with you.. lol.... :D

Fenroy as a true Freshman last year was 1st RB in school history to gain over 1,000 yards. jerry and Mike are highly rated as QBs. Cox at OT is being held in high regards by pros, sorta like Anthony Clements was who was drafted and played for Cards for years and is now with the Jets.
Rickey has taken a total destroyed program and built it up in 5 years so he can now bring in all high school players instead of JC players as in past like ones from Calif. and Fla.
school wise, building new multi purpose indoor sports training facilities. University is growing, was about 4000 when I finished in Dec 73 to over 16,000 last year. Soon as parking problems correct, look to grow to around 20,000 in next few years.
Except for the few jerks that we all have, you will find most of us holding A&M in high regards since you are one of the few Universities to respect us for who we are. Not going into history of name problems and what lsu did to us, but we do consider ourselves the University of Louisiana. Generally referred to as the Louisiana Ragin Cajuns.
I hope that both teams play 110% and have a safe game.
As we say in Louisiana:
