I thought we looked pretty decent for Colt's first start. Salty defense. We'll know more next week.
But USC and Tennessee were sick today.
USC is going to roll this season again. The defense might have some issues, but that offense is still unreal. Their freshman RBs are outstanding.

I think Texas looked good. The defense is scary good -- but the offense had things that indicated they could be stopped. The running game didn't seem as dominant early. Young was stuffed several times and the plays were stretched out well by North Texas. I'm interested to see how the offense performs against a really talented defense (like OSU).
Cal's overrated season is already over thanks to Tennessee. They had a down year last year, but it looks like they could be back.

TU looked decent yesterday, but they played NT. Cal is turning out to be a big flop.
I still think USC, OSU and Auburn will be at the top at the end of the season.

We'll see more of Charles against OSU. He wasn't even running full speed yesterday and was still picking up yards.
OSU's defense held pretty well point-wise, but they gave up a lot of yards. It is not their strength as it was last year.
I think it's going to be another very good, very close game.

Just think how awesome and good the game would be/could be if it was played late in the season (when both teams are full stride)...

I guess you might add TCU to the list after watching the whole game today and being ranked in the top 25. Thier D was really suspect (especially the secondary) and thier offense really had nothing going. They won but Baylor really self destructed with cramps and other stuff.
Although in TCU's defense they were missing some key players. The qb came out, as well as 2 rb and one of thier wr (all starters) That is alot of offensive firepower to sit out.

Louisville lost their RB for the year. That's going to hurt. They'll probably lose to Miami now and WVU, which paves the way pretty smoothly for the Mountaineers.
