I've started a fantasy football league on Yahoo! that's free to join for up to 19 other people.

The live draft will be held September 3, 2005 at 10:00 pm (conveniently at the conclusion of the Clemson/A&M game).

important note: "Your league will not be permitted to conduct its draft if it contains an odd number of managers. "

So let's fill it up with 20 spots and not worry about that possible problem. You don't have to be present to draft - it will automatically draft for you if you're gone based on a player rankings list you can prepare beforehand.

Okay, when I hit the link above to try to sign up I get following

YOu need to have a Yahoo ID to join. Use the link that I put second...not the ones in my early posts, but the one I posted after somebody complained it didn't work.

Nothing yet...we have a while until football season starts. You'll have to eventually sort through the rosters of all the NFL teams and rank the players in order that you want them (in case you can't make the live draft). Then, Sept. 3 at 10 pm, the draft will take place. After that point, you decide your starting line up for games that start in Week 1 (September 8)

you can prioritize your players and have the computer automatically pick them. This is what I might have to do since the draft is on my 21st birthday :gig:
