Here's a list of problems so that you can tell the people that made this software.
1. The quick reply function no worky.
2. If I leave the page and come back it shows a thread has new posts but I made the last post.
3. Sometimes I click the "go to last post" button and it only takes me to the beginning of the thread.
4. Sometimes it's nice to quote a quote.

I'm sure I'll add more in my quest to make this a properly functioning and quality aggie related messageboard. Keep it real.

Helping you help others,
SA79

1. As for the quick reply function it always works for me... just not with the tab stuff. I am a lazy bastard but Im not so lazy than I cant move the mouse to the post quick reply button. ;)

2. there are 2 ways to mark the threads and we use the less server intensive way. Its a tradeoff (the other way writed everything to the db which would elimiate the problem) we decided to make to have the site run as fast as possible. And I can live with a few quirks like that to have the site run faster.

3. Ive never seen that... It always goes to the last post. With that said it does require the page to load completly before it kicks you to the end so if a picture is on the thread and you are on a slow connection it will not kick you to the last post until everything loads (so it knows how far down it needs to kick you) so if you start scanning the thread before its completly loaded it wont work. (it will only kick you to the end if you havent started to move down the thread)

4. I agree 100%... but i know why vbulletin does it the way it does. maybe when they use ajax more so it will show up as one post and you have to click on the quote to see everything... like how the image resizer works but i wouldnt count on that anytime soon.

on #4 the reason they do it is for those sitations where there have been 10-15 nested quotes.... makes each reply huge and unwanted.

either way, posts like these should go in customer service, not aggie football

Even better...how about PMing someone. I'm already tired of the bitching & quite frankly, no one else is complaining so quit bringing stupid **** like this up as "new post". Love it or leave it! Go back to being addicted to one board as far as I'm concerned.

I DON'T KNOW WHO TO PM! It's nice to start a new thread because then everyone else is away and can give their opinions on the problems. Don't be like the town on footloose and hide everything. It's calld constructive criticism. I also didn't know that "customer service" existed.

You started three threads...not just one

about different things. If I pointed out a problem deep into a thread it could be missed.

Its not a problem, its something that you don't like. There is a huge difference.

now a button not functioning correctly is a problem.
