Here is today's question for Wednesday, August 23, 2006
**In addition to the prediction question, a related trivia question will be asked for some Rep -- try and answer the question without researching the answer!**
The PREDICTION QUESTION --
1. what will be the result (in yardage) of our first play on offense in the citadel game? what will be the play?
The TRIVIA QUESTION --
1. what was the minimum number in penalties we had in a single game in the 2005 season, and which game was it?
My guesses for the prediction question is...
1. +12 yards, tellus catch and run across middle
hmiles619
08-23-2006, 03:26 PM
Prediction question:
Shotgun with Lane on the right side and Lewis on the Left side of McGee...
Triple Option Right with a fake to Lane up the middle and a pitch to Lewis for 8 yds
polish

1. J-Train up the middle, 7 yards
My guess is
2. 4 against Baylor?
If it's not Baylor then it has to be one of the bad teams we played
The Massacre

it is 4, but it's not against baylor
hmiles619

The Massacre
08-23-2006, 04:40 PM
actually, we did have 4 (for 40 yards) against tech and that was the low.
there was also another low game at 4 (for 20 yards). not smu though.
The Massacre

4 against tech
:rep:
4 for 20 yards against ok state is the other one.

Screen pass to Courtney Lewis, 13-yard gain.
hmiles619
08-23-2006, 04:53 PM
who runs a screen on the first play of the game?
hmiles619

My option right is much more likely :p
Loftin
08-23-2006, 05:22 PM
who runs a screen on the first play of the game?
Who kicks a PAT when down by 2? Who blitzes the CBs on 3rd and long? Who runs a fake FG against Texas State?
In my opinion, something tricky like a screen pass is ideal for the first play. The defense is just getting their feet wet, and is more likely committ too early in their excitement. The coach can tell the offense in the locker room that that's what they'll run, so the offense will be extra prepared.

Don't think that I don't believe you, but when did we do this?

Colorado game in '04. I'll never forget that madness. Reggie brought us back all by himself that day.

Here goes Loftin choking on Reggie's McCock again. Give it a rest. Move on.
The first play from scrimmage will be a play action to fake to C-lew & McGee will hit Chad down the sidelines for an 80 yard TD. Old Ags may remember the similar type play when Randy McCown hooked up with Albert Connell to start the game for what I believe is still the longest pass play in Aggie history.

Here is today's question for Saturday, August 26, 2006
**In addition to the prediction question, a related trivia question will be asked for some Rep -- try and answer the question without researching the answer!**
The PREDICTION QUESTION --
1. which group will have more rushing yards in the Aggies' football opener against citadel?
a) Mcgee and Lane
b) Lewis, Goodson, and the rest of our rb's
The TRIVIA QUESTION --
1. how many total yards rushing did Texas A&M have in their 2005 football opener? *must give within 10 yards o/u for the rep*
My guesses for the prediction question is...
b) Lewis, Goodson, and the rest of our rb's
PinetarAg
08-27-2006, 12:04 AM
I'll guess Lewis and the rest of the Rb's
Last years Clemson game I say 195 rushing yards
The Massacre
08-27-2006, 12:06 AM
195 is close but not within 10
Loftin
08-27-2006, 02:17 AM
I will guess that C-Lew and the rest of the RBs will outrush Train and McGee in the Citadel game.
I expect Goodson and Leone to run nearly every play in the 4th quarter, racking up a ton of yards. Those two plus whatever Courtney Lewis gets should outnumber Jorvorskie and McGee's numbers.
polish
08-27-2006, 08:19 AM
1. Lewis and the rest
2. 250
The Massacre
08-27-2006, 08:55 AM
250 is close to the answer of 248. i think. (i mean...i think the answer is 248.)
