Who's the greatest WR in Aggie History?

Although I may be biased because I'm young, Terrence Murphy is the best I've seen. The #1 receiving option for A&M's all-time leading passer for 3 years, Murphy has more receiving yards than any Aggie in history.

I remember Connell catching some amazing catches when we had no other WRs to speak of.

What!? No Carl Roaches? The lone WR in Emory Bellard's wishbone.

i'm not sure about some of the older guys, but in recent years, Robert Ferguson was a monster. too bad he left early.

Vote "other." I knew I would end up leaving somebody important out, so that choice is there for a reason.

Wow, pretty split decision so far.
You guys aren't too young to remember Robert Ferguson, right?? Far and away the best Aggie WR ever. Bethel is very good, so is Murphy, but they dont have the talent of Ferguson. I just wish he had been here longer.

i completely agree. RF got my vote. the guy was awesome! everytime our qb threw in his direction, you knew he was coming down with the catch. was great seeing him play.

I agree with HDRV. I had to go with Connell. The guy had no other WRs around him, he only got about 5 balls thrown his way each game (because we never freaking threw the ball) but he pulled down a lot of balls, & could outrun the entire field.

there is no way bethel was a better receiver at A&M than ferguson.

Depends on how you interpret the question. Are we talking about a year or a career?

well i guess it's all time so i guess Bethel did play here longer, so i guess for this thread, Bethel should be ahead.

My point...if its greatest single season by an Aggie WR, Ferguson wins in a Reagan/Mondale landslide.

I agree with Dustin. I almost voted for Ferguson because he was great for a year. Murphy was the best WR and most complete in my opinion.

i voted cole personally... but he had the disadvantage of being here in our glory running days. but he has had the most complete pro career so thats why he got my vote.
