if anybody tried to download the show within the past 5 mins it may have shown up as a bad file. I had to update something that was forgotten (the album coverart, which will now appear in both itunes and windows media player)... or it should.

We all were anticipating feedback from members and we are the only 3 people who've listened to it.

Guys,

Sounded pretty good to me. One thing you might think about doing is identifying yourself a couple of times in the middle of the podcast, for people like me who are just starting to listen and don't know voices yet. I find myself several times nodding in complete agreement with one of you, but I had no idea who it was.

It would be nice to be able to know who was who on there until I (and others who start listening in the middle of the season) to know who's who, and its hard to remember when you're 10 minutes in, back to the beginngin when you first introduced yourselves.

It would probably prompt more discussion of the content, since you would be able to direct comments directly at the person who said what you agreed/disagreed with.

Other than that, though, I thought you guys did a great job. All three of you sounded like you were very well prepared for it, never really had to search for what you were trying to say.

Thanks for the comments... in the actual talking it was maninly vlyrock (he did most of the talking, and loftin did alot of the discussion with him... i actually said very little). And this was our first podcast together so this is the first time alot of people have heard us talk. I think we can work the names in more (especially when vly asked us who we thought would win... could have said and "loftin who do you think would win" etc)

and actually we did alot of searching for what we were going to say.... im just a masterful editor. ;) (vly did a very good job with it though and didnt have to edit nearly as much as dustins first one)

I was forced too.... :) But, I think it'll only get better as we work together more. This was the first time I had really talked to Loftin (other than a few words at the b-ball road trip).

Hey guys, love the Podcast! Just found you on the iTunes Podcast Directory. Signed up this evening. One thing I have found cool to play with is doing Enhanced Podcasts. It would be great to put chapter markers in as the season gets underway. You could mark chapters like reveille, 1st quarter, 2nd, Half or whatever you come up with. I think the chapter markers could help if you come up with a set format you try to follow.

The other cool part of enhanced Podcasts is you can put hyper links in so folks can just click to get to a WebPages you are talking about. Just a thought because the site has so many great pictures and tons of info. Not sure how you support your efforts or promote but putting the sponsor link up might help you.

I also agree with Kyle98, it would be nice for you to recap names a few times until I can get used to your voices.

Keep up the great work, your not the only ones listening and I am planning to share your site and Podcast with other former students.

Gig’em!

I have actually looked into the "enhanced podcasts" but right now they are a pita to do because itunes wants to do them one way and windows media player wants to do them another (you cant have an "enchanced podcast with mp3 yet.... its only apple's and microosft's propreitary formats and the way we do our podcasts only allows for one version of it and truthfully mp3 is the best possible format because it works everywhere). Im going to wait until they atleast make it easier to do (hopefully there is a way to turn a mp3 into an enhanced podcast relatively soon via xml or something). If we were going to do an enhanced podcast it would require us to make 3 (aac for itunes, wma for windows media player and mp3 for everything else) different versions where with mp3 its 1 version that plays everywhere. I do like the features of enhanced podcasts (especially the chapter stuff)

So the moral of that story is I have looked into it but both apple and microsoft want to be whiney little bitches so for the time being we are going to stick to what works universally.

That said welcome to the site and pass the word around. :)
