-The blue stripe on the video screen appears to be where the scoreboard will be

It looks like they need to do some adjustments on the picture. There is a stripe at the bottom that shows what should be on the top of the screen.

What you are seeing on the stripe appears to be a reflection of the sky. As someone else mentioned, this is where the actual score will be shown.

Oreo, thanks for the pics. :rep: The ribbon boards are gonna look sweet. Also noticed that they painted the hand rails maroon. Its a minor thing, but it looks nice.

Are those all A/C vents/fans on the sides to keep this big bastard cool so it doesn't overheat? I can imagine how much heat that thing puts off.

the one thing i noticed is the ribbon boards dont run around the zone.... if the rumors are true of them using the ribbon boards to run around the stadium its not going to look right having it cutoff on one side of the grandstand and resume on the other (when it could have been a more or less seamless run by using the zone)... its a very minor thing though.

i don't think they will cover the track until after this weekend since the 5K run is this weekend and it starts on the home sideline

These changes are going to take a little getting used to. Going to be a little different stepping into Kyle on Sept. 2 and not seeing the lettering and the old scoreboard.

No kidding, especially for those of us who havn't been to a game since '92. We did tour Kyle Field in February and the closed-in north end zone was a bit disorienting and I can't figure where the band marches in for Yell Practice, but I guess I'll find out in what 10 days now!!!! WHOOP.

I'm already getting chills.

Looks like they are starting to put the "ATM" on top of the scoreboard.
