Good stuff. I wish more websites and publications would do previews this way (quick, to the point) instead of drawing it out forever.
Okie Light ranked #96...ouch.

Oh, and no way that Notre Dame plays for the MNC. They are good, but WAY overrated and have too hard a schedule to go undefeated. They'll make a BCS game, but not the MNC game.

I think that either West Virginia or USC will make the MNC game due to a ridiculously easy conference schedule, and then get blown out by a real contender.

I think USC lost too much to make it. My money would be on Cal (or maybe Arizona State) to win the Pac 10 this year.

Every year, Arizona State is a "darkhorse" for the PAC-10, and every year they suck.
Cal will probably be USC's biggest challenge, with Oregon being next in the PAC-10 pecking order. Arizona State might not be better than UCLA or Arizona this year. I think that even with all their losses, USC still has the talent to run the PAC-10 table. They will have three OOC challenges this year, though, with Nebraska, Notre Dame and Arkansas on the schedule.

I don't know about that.... Until I'm proved wrong I see no reason why they can't play in the BSC game. I don't think they are overrated at all. In fact, if you are going to project anybody in any BCS bowl game then there is no reason why any of them can't play in the big one.
That is cool that they have us in the Holiday Bowl since that's the bowl I want to go too. Reason being, if we aren't playing in the big one we might as well play in San Diego.

They'll go to a BCS game not b/c they deserve it, but b/c of the stupid rule that they are guaranteed in if they have 9 wins.

Of all the teams that finished in the top 5 last year, Notre Dame and West Virginia are the only ones who weren't decimated by graduation and the NFL draft. I'll go ahead and predict them in the BCS game, with USC being my darkhorse.

Here's my prediction for the title game.....Cal vs. West Virginia.
If Louisville knocks off Miami they will have the momentum to knock off West Virginia at home.... They win those two games & Louisville could sneak in....
Louisville vs Auburn
or
Cal vs Ohio State
Those are my predictions.

If Ohio State can beat Texas in Austin-which, with Texas' QB having at most 1 game's experience, and that against UNT, shouldn't be as hard as it sounds-they've got a legit shot at getting to the title game.
They get both Penn State and Michigan at the Horseshoe. They do have to go to Iowa (overrated), but the rest of the schedule they should win easliy.
I really like Auburn to come out of the SEC as well. My pick is Ohio State vs Auburn.

I like Auburn to win the SEC, and they could even be the best team in the nation. However, it's so hard for an SEC team to go undefeated with their killer schedules.
