OU Press Conference

Did anyone watch the press conference over the net? Stoops was really defensive the whole time. Stoops really didn't explain much at all..or atleast he left out alot of the details. At one point, he basically said that they (OU) are better off with Thompson than Bomar. I thought that was pretty funny.

i saw most of it. i guess there is no reason to go into all the details. guess he did that so as to have the we've already moved on attitude.

I feel bad for the car dealership at this point. I didn't know this until this afternoon, but the dealership changed owners a few months ago and they were the ones that alerted OU of the payments in 2005. When the new ownership (not OU affiliated) took over, they fired all of the staff that had been dealing with the players to wipe their hands clean. The new owners had absolutely zero to do with what went on, yet are being harrassed and threatened by numerous sooner fans.
