My buddy & I (and our families) will be making a road trip from Tennessee to Texas this Thanksgiving and would love to go to the Aggie game. I'm a former student @ TAMU & he is a long time fan of TU. We butt heads all the time...and I'd love to be there when we beat TU...IN AUSTIN! Anyways, does anyone have any tickets available? If not, where is the best place to look? I tried stubhub, but the ticket prices (for decent seats) are $300-500.

Thanks!

Welcome to the site. Getting tickets to that game are gonna be tough, but you might also want to try Ebay.

yah, i agree. ebay closer to the game (during f-ball season) will probably be your best bet.

yeah, if Texas or A&m get a decent number of losses, the tickets will become readily available. Only time you should go through stubhub or something this early is if you think there's a chance either has a shot at the national championship.

I say wait until late October and you can probably find some at a reasonable price...

Thanks guys. I haven't been to a game since '98...and it is hard to catch A&M on TV up here. I get ppv when I can, but NOTHING beats seeing my Ags live.

BTW, great site. Much more positive than the "other" site (as a whole). I get tired of "fans" downing their own team before the season starts. It reminds me of someone who "supports the troops" but criticizes everything they do...another rant, another time...

Wait till Texas loses their second game of the season and looks vulnerable, tickets should be easier to land then.

Or, if they lose to OU. If they have 2 or more losses (which I'd place at about 75% chance of happening), then you should be able to find tickets.

How can I be sure that you're sure that he's sure that I'm not sure anymore? Okay, enough of that.

I'm not sure OU will be able to romp over Texas like I thought they would. I know that OU will still have a stout defense. It all depends on the type of offense the Longhorns have (which should at least be a good running one with that O-line) and the type of offense OU can muster under a new QB.
