That poll was kinda what I was expecting. No surprise with Carrol in the #1 spot I've got a couple of friends playing on the team and hope Carrol does good this year.

A&M Consolidated at #24...they better find some offense if they want to have a chance at taking the district from Copperas Cove. Consol's offense was horrible last year.

Consol's problem was that their passing game last year was somewhere between non existent and ineffective. If they can muster up any kind of passing game this season, they should be pretty good.

That's the same with my old high school Judson. We are always undersized and small...but play hard. We're a running team with minimal passing ability (but can if we have too). The RB's consistently carry the offense and the centerpiece is the Defense.

The same can definitely be said for my HS alma mater, Smithson Valley. You look at those stat sheets and wonder how they do it with a bunch of flyweights!

My dad's alma mater, Abilene HS, is #16!! I went to the AHS and Abilene Cooper game last year and it was a doozie.

Consol needs a good year and i do believe ive herd of that #68. Is he on rivals yet?

not quite sure if hes on rivals yet. But he did run a 5.01 and benched 350 last week!!!

Isnt he a junior? Now the 350 bench is impressive but i dont know about the 5.01. Need to get it under 5.

#68 is my brother. He is a junior at consol. Cant wait till football season starts.

Keep us posted during the season on how he's doing. I know he's family, but what's the prospects of him playing in college?

His chances are looking good, the only thing is he is loosing too much weight and for his position, right gaurd, he needs to bulk up. I told him if he gets to play in college I will move just for the season to watch!!
