Even though Wright won't get much playing time behind Carter, this should make him a much better player in the next few years when he does get his shot.

I think Wright will get a legitimate shot in the NBA with another team. You are right that he will be hard pressed to get any PT behind Carter. However, it is a great situation for him right now to learn. Hopefully he will take full advantage of the situation and improve his skills. Sounds like that is exactly what he is doing. I believe he is the start of a new breed of Aggies that make it to the NBA.
