I've saved money by switching electric providers and you can too.

While it could work, it would take convincing skepitical people to do something. It's one of those, you'll most likely not succeed but if you do, you'll probably do well

Yeah, conviently, I don't & Entergy sticks it to me on a monthly basis--especially during the summer.

But remember that we have compared electric bills and I'd trade your Entergy bill with my TXU bill any day.

If you ever stay at Dustin's house, make sure and bring your winter clothes. It will be the only place you ever stay where it is 100 degrees outside and below freezing inside. Its always a weird feeling waking up after a long night of drinking and realizing that it somehow snowed inside his house.

Its not that cold. P-ville is just a drama queen. I turn it down to 72-73 at night & 78-80 during the day.

That's what we do at our house too Dustin but my bill last month was only $260. I changed from Reliant about 3 months ago to something cheaper.

My house is 76 during the day and 74 at night (since the wife is at home during the day). If she is gone, then its near 80 while we are gone.

yeah just don't take the thermostat below 65 bcause it will freeze your coil and it will take 3 hour to defrost!

When I lived at University Commons, our A/C would freeze often and we always kept it at 75. Our electric bill was $540 this month.

we keep our house at 78 all the time. with all the extra critters we have that need heat, and 2 window a/c's for the rodents our bill was $330 last month.
I'm fixing to switch electric providers. Centerpoint misread our meter and we got a $411 bill. The month before was $150 and this month is $200 so something was definately wrong. I have Stream energy right now because my dad used to be a rep for them. They are so expensive right now and won't give me a good deal unless I sign a long term contract.

if centerpoint misread your meter you better stay with them. Next time they come out to check, your numbers will correct themselves and you'll have a really low bill

centerpoint just reads the meter, they don't send you a bill. I just go my next electric bill and it doesn't show a correction. So I am leaving.

it has to have shown a correction..that's how meter reading works....they can't just make up numbers. what are the meter readings from the bills in the past?
