Let me say this, I haven't seen the video and I'm not a prude, I'm sure parts of it are funny. My point is this, you have got to think with your head not your a**, did he really think this would be kept within the organization. I heard this morning on the radio that they shot parts of it on the mayors office, the stupid mayor is PO'ed, he had no idea, supposedly, what it was going to be. Me thinks someone is in a heap of trouble :p, pink slip baby!

Okay, after reading the ESPN article, I'm thinking this Kirk Reynolds guy is take the fall for others. This video was shown to the team last year during a "diversity workshop" the owners and other people had seen snippets of the video months ago, hum, is it just me or do things not add up. :p

He was probably thinking humor is the way to breach difficult subjects. It was probably no different than something Chappelle would have said. Given that i agree with MarylandAg, you really have to watch your back when making racial jokes.

Funny you mention the Chappelle show Polish, because I was thinking if this was a skit on one of the comedy shows, it would have been no big deal. In fact on the radio this morning, they were saying the same exact thing. Minus the nudity of course because you can't have that on SNL, MadTV or some of the others ;) .

Is this video safe for work? I read the article on ESPN, doesn't seem like it would be.

Does the first link take you to the video, or just an article?

First link just takes you to a local new agency, I think one of affiliates of the big ones like Fox, ABC, CBS, or NBC. To be honest Vly, I'm at work myself and I read there is some nudity in them, so I have not seen the video and will wait till I get home. I do however think, most of the videos out there on this subject are snippets and the bad parts have been either blurred or edited. Just to be on the safe side, I wait until your computer comes back form the "lightning strike".

Yeah, I read about the nudity too...that's why I asked.

Just wanted to make sure I didn't get a surprise on my screen by clicking a link. Sounds like a funny video though and I'd like to see it just to see how it teaches about media questions, etc. Sounds to me like he wanted excuses to hang out with topless women and act like the mayor.

They showed the clips on FOX News with nudity and blurred them out. The talking heads were arguing over the video so I don't know what context the scene was in.

I think that this is being overblown, but really, did they think that they could get away with anything that might possibly offend anyone in San Francisco? The only people you are allowed to offend there are Christians and Southerners.
