Defense: 4-3 vs 3-4

Since the Cowboys are switching to the 3-4, I thought I'd post a link to a discription of this defense in comparison to the 4-3. This is from an Oakland Raiders site, I think it is a very good explaination of the two defenses.

I would go with the 3-4 because it tends to work better against the spread which a lot more teams are starting to go to. It makes it harder for the offense to pick up their assignments on blitzes and pass protection.

Unless you have a stellar D-Line like A&M and Texas do this year, I would go with 3-4. LB's are more versatile, so adjustments are more feasible.
