Aggie Softball -- Super Regionals

The Lady Ags have started playing Game 1 of the Super Regionals.

It's important that they take game 1 because it gives them an advantage, they only have to win one of the next 2. If they lose, they'll have their backs against the wall and have to take Games 2 & 3 on Saturday.

They just started and th lady Ags are losing 2-0 in the 2nd inning.

The Ags gave up an unearned run in the first after two passed balls advanced the runner from 1st to 3rd. In the beginning of the 2nd, the Ags gave up a leadoff home run.

The Ags are coming up to bat in the 2nd with Scarborough leading off.

Megan Gibson is pitching for the Ags.

I don't want to make this an all Vlyrock posting thread, but I'm listening to it on the radio...and it seems the Ags are overly aggressive at the plate. Apparently, according to the announcers, almost everything is out of the strike zone, but we're swinging at it.

Texas is playing again now too...And again, Cat Osterman is pitching. I swear, anything Texas does in Super Regionals and the World Series is because of her...the rest of their team sucks.

I just hope the Ags go farther than any other Big XII team (if we don't win it). OU, Baylor, A&M, and Texas are all in the tournament.

Time to come back...but this is looking pretty bad...Gibson just isn't pitching well.

I'm disappointed for the Ladies. They had a heck of a season. And will be loaded for bear next season.
