Sportcenter just did a segment on college QB's making the transition to NFL wideouts, they interviewed Mizzou's Brad Smith and Reggie. In conclusion they said that Reggie shouldn't be so stuburn about playing QB and open up to playing whatever a team asks of him alla Randle El....can't really blame Reggie for this, I wish he gets a shot @ QB in the pros :gig:

I think it just depends on what team drafts reggie. If he gets drafted by a team like the patriots, he's screwed. His best bet at playing QB is to get drafted by a team like the Chiefs. They have a solid QB in Trent Green so wont be wasting a high draft pick on a QB but is getting old and may be ready to retire in a couple of years. Teams like that may be willing to gamble on a QB in the fourth or fifth round hoping to find the next tom brady.

If he's drafted in round 3 or later, I would be suprised if Reggie ever played anything but QB. If he's taken in round two, then he will definitely be a WR.

It's a shame. They said that although he's a better QB than others in the draft, his freakish athleticism will make teams consider playing him elsewhere on the field. Reggie needs to be stubborn. If he's got a "I'll play whatever position you want" attitude, he'll never get a shot at QB. Personally, I'd like the Texans to take Reggie with the first pick of the 4th round if he's still available.

Then again, if he will "play wherever" then he could have a long NFL career too.
