read this one first: explains the origin of the second links story
http://www.texags.com/main/forum.reply.asp?topic_id=616430&forum_id=5
then read this one
http://www.texags.com/main/forum.reply.asp?topic_id=616547&forum_id=5
and even still they doubt it in typical Texags fashion
i can seriously buy the explanation as to why Reggie sat out the t.u. game
and yet people still want bash him no matter what

Seriously Reggie was a major problem but he wasn't the biggest problem. We could have overcome his problems but didn't b/c of other things

Right. Reggie's difficulties were a small part of a big problem. He has become the scapegoat, and I don't like it.

This is actually one place where I think the conspiracy mongering is semi-justified.
Your coach said a very weird thing about t+1 and Reggie in one of his web postings--He said they "invited" Reggie to be on the sideline.
That's almost a direct quote as far as I can remember it. What coach invites an injured player, your starting QB, down to the sideline for the last game of the year?
It almost suggested there was something else going on. I doubt there's any reason to believe Reggie was your problem, but in the Baylor game and the ISU game he looked like he'd had it with some of the playcalling.
I do wonder if at some point he and your coach didn't have it out a little bit.

I don't remember reading that, but I forget most of what Fran says in his online postings almost immediately after I read them. But yeah if he worded it that way, it does make you question why he had to be invited to the sidelines? If there hadn't been some sort of falling out with him and the coaching staff, why would he have to have been invited? I definately agree though that Reggie was just one of the problems with this past years team.
