Warner Home Video has begun trial sales in China of a movie DVD priced at just Rmb12 ($1.50), a move likely to anger consumers in developed markets such as Europe and the US, who typically pay $20-$30 for a recently released film on DVD.

You can almost always get a new release somewhere much cheaper than $20-$30.

Anyway, it's their product. They can sell it for whatever they want.

Why would I be angered that it's selling for a buck fifty on the other side of the world?

I buy DVD's used. If you know the places to look, you can get any DVD in good condition and original case for $5-$10 within a month of its' release.
