RB Depth

Ok, we are getting really deep at RB and have a ton of athletes looking for minutes. Our offense usually has one RB and an "A" back that moves from WR to RB and vice versa.

Who will play where, and in what order?

This is what I'd like to see:

RB:
Jorvorskie Lane
Michael Goodson
Keondra Smith
Chris Alexander(mostly a goal line fullback)
Ryan O'Bryant

"A" Back:
Courtney Lewis
Brandon Leone
Samson Taylor
Husani Sallah

...and put redshirts on Trent Hines and Latreal Cooper.

What does everyone else predict/want?

i think that looks great. i think that courtney lewis would benefit from this a lot. get him out of getting hit so much so that he doesnt get hurt so much. j train can handle the bulk of the load and pound defenses into submission and then bring in a quicker back when we see a chance to break a long run. i am still not sold on leone as a full time offensive player, see osu game. he may be better now but he just puts the ball on the ground for me to want to see him with the ball a whole lot.

Trent Hines had his offer pulled after the sexual assualt charges came out. As far as the "A" back goes, that is no longer an actual position & hasn't been since Fran's first year. I think Lewis & Lane will be a great mix of speed & power & that will probably be the way it ends up unless Goodson just blows the door off of things.

Trent Hines had his offer pulled after the sexual assualt charges came out. As far as the "A" back goes, that is no longer an actual position & hasn't been since Fran's first year. I think Lewis & Lane will be a great mix of speed & power & that will probably be the way it ends up unless Goodson just blows the door off of things.

It's not a "real position," but Jason Carter sure lined up that way a lot. Also, there were a couple of times that Courtney Lewis lined up there alongside Lane.

Reread my post....I said his 'ship was pulled after sexual assualt charges. I never said he committed the act.

His 'ship was pulled in the same manner that the Duke Lacrosse team's season was cancelled. All it took were charges being filed.
