Charlize Theron to boycott marriage until it is made legal for gays. How is this suppose to entice Congress to make gay marriage legal?

Now that is clever! Her boyfriend is probably pushing for marriage, but she is not sure that he is not just in it for the quickie and the money; however, at the same time, she does not want to risk losing him if he is really into her.........Eureka!

Sorry honey, I really really really want to marry you, but I just can't until gays can legally be married too. THAT's the reason we can't get married yet.

She has opened the door guys! Vly! it is not too late! tell the future Mrs. Vly that y'all should just be live-ins until this whole gay thing is decided!

Gay men have the same equal rights to marry a woman as a straight man. Just because they don't like women doesn't mean they are denied rights.

You know, I've made this argument many, many times. It is so simple and completely dispositive, but people just don't get it.

Marriage is and always has been man-woman. It's that way for a reason--that arrangement has benefits to society that are worthy of encouragement.

Attempts to change it have failed.

Many--maybe not all, but many--gay men desire gay marriage precisely so they can start changing the nature of marriage completely (so it will conform to a lifestyle they want to lead).

There's all kinds of things about marriage I don't want to deal with right now, so I'm not married. Marriage is a package deal. There's good and bad. It doesn't mean I'm denied rights because Texas won't change marriage to conform to my idea of what marriage should be.

marriage is between a man and a woman just like minority scholarships are for minorities and I can't win one. I've come to grips with the scholarship thing, and I think its time they do the same with their issue. If they change marriage, then they inherently have to change a bunch of other things.
