spurs are up in Game 1 39-34. Winning on the road would be a great start to the series.

Anybody else watching the game? 5 minutes to go, Spurs lead 100-98. I'm amazed at their offense....they don't put up a 100 very often (that's what worries me about this series)....

But, again they're winning this one right now. Just need to hold on....

Anybody watch the Spurs game last night....I watched it at Humperdinks in Dallas. Kind of pissed me off because they had banners hanging from the roof of OU, TU, and TT, but no Ags.

Anyway...2-0 series lead. Even a split at home would basicaly kill the Suns' chances.

Going for the sweep tonight. We're having a horrible third quarter, now we're down 9. Let's not let the Suns in it. Put it away in the 4th...C'mon Spurs!!

I see the Suns winning the next game at home and losing to San Antonio in San Antonio.

I could see that too. Honestly, the Spurs should've swept them if they didn't get manhandled in the 3rd quarter like that. I swear, with 1:00 left, the Suns had outscored the Spurs 26-10 or something like that.

Right now the Spurs remind me of the Utah Jazz of the 90s. They are tremendously talented and deep, but they rely WAY too much on flops. During the last two minutes, the Spurs exerted more energy on whining to the refs than they did getting rebounds. I think they would actually be better if they'd stay on their feet and play tough basketball.

Did anybody watch the game last night?

It was by far, the worst officiated game I've ever seen. This applies to calls both for the Spurs and against.

First of all, how do you shove Tony Parker to the ground and not get a foul on Amare Stoudamire. Also, 3 straight offensive foul calls on the Spurs?!?...give me a break. Tony Parker traveled several times without a call. Brent Barry got smacked in the face at least twice without a call. Tim Duncan breathed on Stoudamire's arm and got a foul. It was horrible.

Also, I got tired of the 4th quarter Stoudamire lovefest the announcers had. They literally talked about how awesome he was, how talented he was, how he could be so great, etc. from about 8 minutes left in the 3rd until the end of the game. They complimented Duncan, but spent so much time talking about Amare.

I'll admit he was one hell of a player. He put up over 30 points in all 5 games. That's pretty freakin' good -- even Shaq never did that in 5 or 6 playoff series. But obviously, he just had a good series. If he was super awesome like they talked him up to be, 1) His teammate wouldn't be MVP 2) He'd be MVP 3) He'd be known by many outside of the Phoenix area (before the playoffs)

Either way, I'm glad it's over...bring on the Heat or Pistons. Maybe I'll get a call from CBS and get to work the Finals again. I got to work it 3 years ago when the Spurs beat the Nets.

It was awesome -- worked with NBA entertainment and the halftime show. Waited on Lisa Marie Pressley, hung out with George Gervin and other NBA stars during the game...fun times. Hope I get to do it again.
