Anyone watching it? Kind of interesting. Like the guy or not, he is very intriguing. He is such an ass, but he does such a great job of being an ass. I'll probably continue watching it until they start glorifying him on a regular basis.

It really wasn't about "poor old Bonds". It offered a lot of insite into what he goes through on a daily basis, but you never really thought, "poor Barry." It was more, "well, you bring it on yourself, *******!"

You think that way(meaning he brought it on his-self), but I think ESPN is trying to spin Bonds as the anti-hero so they can get huge ratings during his home run record home stretch

Bonds got to call all the shots on the show (what to film, what will air, etc), so take that for what its worth.

i think it was just an opportunity for bond to throw a pitty party. look at me, look what the media has done to me, look what baseball has done to try to bring me down. he brought all of this on himself, and he seems to forget that because of baseball, he has made more money in one season than i can dream about. what an ass, i have never liked him.

Actually, he didn't. I heard the interview with the producer yesterday on Dan Patrick. Now granted, he can tell the cameras when to leave, but if its filmed, its free game--just like the syringe being thrown at him on Opening Night. That made the show.
Its definitely a conflict of interest. ESPN is paying Bonds through a 3rd party to do this show, & obviously, its ESPN's job as sports reporters to report the facts in an unbiased manner. I don't see how they are going to do that (& neither does Dan Patrick) so I'm watching to see how this whole thing plays out. Like I said earlier, if it becomes a show that is nothing more than a way for Bonds to say what he wants to say in controlled conditions, then I'm done. But until then, I want to see how ESPN handles this thing.
