Man, my freaking buddy set up his bachelor party for the same damn weekend down at Matagorda. I haven't missed on in about 4 years, so I'm really going to hate missing this one, but I don't really have a choice.

I will go, but I usually hate the game. It looks like an Aggie football game, it sounds like an Aggie football game, but it's just an intersquad scrimmage. This is nothing but a tease.

I read that in the Temple Daily Telegram (a far cry from the SA Express News). Said they were steady, but unimpressive. McCoy was 7-11 for about 75 yards and 1 interception. Don't recall the others' stats.

COMING UP: The Maroon and White Game will conclude spring training on Saturday at 2 p.m. The team rosters were revealed to the players after Thursday's workout. Franchione selected members of the leadership council to draft the teams. McGee of the White team had the first choice and picked center Cody Wallace.


interesting first selection by mcgee while drafting for the game saturday. i think this says a lot. he pick an o-lineman, his center. this has got to show the o-line that he respects them and needs them to be a power next season for the team to get where it needs to be. great move by mcgee wether he meant to send a message or not as a leader.
