Aggies vs Horns - Game 1

It's starting off good...Longhorns put up 1 in the top of the first.

The Ags answered back with 3 in the bottom.

Ags lead 3-1.

It's 6-4 Horns in the 6th (they scored 3 in the top), but the score updater is saying game over after 6. Anybody know why or what's going on?

from what I can tell in the jacked up scoretracker, the Horns lead 7-6 in the bottom of the 9th. Ags have runners on 1st and 2nd, no outs.

Sorry Vlyrock, I was at the game and couldn't post.

I'm not a huge fan of baseball in general, but that game was genuinely exciting from beginning to end (a baseball rarity). The best play (besides the winning run) was when we were trying to intentionally walk one of the Texas players. After three balls with our catcher standing up, the Texas batter reached over and tried to hit the fourth pitch. He did hit the ball, but it went straight into the first baseman's glove, which then ended the inning. The "STU-PID STU-PID STU-PID" chants seemed more vigorous then than ever. There was also a base hit to left field with a runner on second, and our outfielder picked the ball up against the wall and rocketed it to home plate to tag out the runner. I don't know which guy it is, but our leftfielder has a hell of an arm. I've never seen a throw like that.

The Horn fans were their usual selves. When this guy in an orange polo came in during the first inning, the people in front were saying "between innings please" and "the game started at 7" loudly (Which we do to fellow Aggies who don't wait between innings too). He turned around with a sour face and said "BITE IT." Hysterical laughter then ensued, and the man left Olsen the very next inning. He looked like he was 40 years old, which probably made his immaturity more enjoyable. Many fans and families were there to support Texas and they behaved appropriately, but there were no shortage of orange-clad jackasses.
