Once again, MarylandAg has volunteered to donate a $25 money order to whoever can get the Preakness prediction the closest. It's free, so even if you know nothing about horse racing, put in a guess - you may get lucky!

There is one new rule, and that has to do with the scoring. See below in bold.

You must select 4 horses. Win, Place, Show (1st, 2nd, and 3rd) with a 4th place finisher as your tie-breaker. If you should end up tied with somebody after the first 3 horses, whoever's 4th horse finishes better in the field will win. If both players are tied and have select the same 4th place horse, a tie-breaker will be determined later (probably selecting a stat or score in an upcoming Aggie Athletic event).

Use this thread only to post your 4 horses. Discuss your picks or make fun of someone else's on another thread. You may not edit your selections after you post them. If you wish to change a selection, pm me and I will update it for you. If it says - "edited by your username" your selection will not be valid. All picks must be in an hour before post time. Post time is scheduled to start (I'll put it whenever we find out ).

The point system is as follows:
25 points for correct Winner (1st)
15 points for correct Place (2nd)
5 points for correct Show (3rd)
1 point for any of your top 3 finishing in the top 3 but not in the same position you predicted
(example, your first place winner finishes second - you get one point)

There is a 10 point bonus for getting consecutive horses right (1st and 2nd or 2nd and 3rd)

Most points wins, tiebreakers are settled as per above.

The odds and horses are posted below.

Good Luck and Thanks Again MarylandAg

In my best Usher and Ludicrous voice, "Take that and rewind it back, Lil' Jon got the rhythm make ya booty go (clap)
Take that and rewind it back, Ursher got the voice make ya booty go (clap)
Take that and rewind it back, Ludacris got the flow make ya booty go (clap)
Take that and rewind it back, Lil' Jon got the rhythm make ya booty go (clap)
YEAH. YEAH, YEAH!!!!! :p

Congrats to Yeah. That was a hell of race by Afleet Alex, to come back from almost going down in the stretch is amazing to say the least. At least a portion of the winnings go to Alex's Lemonade Stand and the little girl who was trying to raise money for cancer, so that is a good thing. I also thought Giacamo did pretty well considering he got zero respect. :D We'll do it again for the Belmont, and I'm thinking Afleet Alex will be hard to beat, but a mile and a half can spell doom for many horses.
